Welcome to the Student Union of TSUE!

The Student Union is the official representative body of the students of the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), which is one of the leading universities in Uzbekistan and the region in terms of economics and management. Our mission is to protect and promote the interests, rights, and welfare of our fellow students, as well as to enrich their academic and social life.

Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) takes great pride in its vibrant and inclusive student union, which serves as a recognized representative body for both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the university level. The student union at TSUE plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community, advocating for student rights, and providing various services and opportunities for personal and academic growth.
 
The TSUE student union is not only an independent entity within the university but also maintains a strong connection and affiliation with a wider national student union body. This affiliation allows the student union to collaborate with other universities and participate in national-level discussions and initiatives concerning student welfare, education policies, and social issues. By being part of a larger network, the TSUE student union ensures that the voices and concerns of its students are heard at a broader scale.
 
One of the key features of the TSUE student union is its commitment to democratic principles. The leadership of the student union is elected through a fair and transparent electoral process, allowing all students to exercise their right to vote. This democratic approach ensures that the student union represents the diverse interests and aspirations of the student body. By electing their leaders, students actively participate in shaping the direction and priorities of the student union, fostering a sense of ownership and empowerment among the student community.
 
The student union at TSUE organizes a wide range of activities and initiatives to cater to the diverse needs and interests of the students. These include academic and career-oriented workshops, cultural and sports events, community service projects, and social gatherings. The student union also acts as a platform for students to voice their concerns, propose ideas, and collaborate with the university administration to improve the overall student experience.
 
Furthermore, the TSUE student union provides various support services to enhance the well-being and academic success of the students. These services may include counseling and guidance, mentorship programs, academic resources, and assistance with extracurricular activities. The student union strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued and has access to the necessary resources for their personal and professional development.

The student union elects its leadership, allowing students to vote. The student union has a general assembly, which is the highest decision-making body of the organization. The general assembly consists of representatives from all faculties and departments of TSUE. The general assembly elects the president, vice-presidents, and executive committee members of the student union for a one-year term. The executive committee is responsible for implementing the decisions of the general assembly and managing the daily affairs of the student union. The student union also has subcommittees that deal with specific issues, such as education, culture, sports, social affairs, and international relations.

Our Student Union consists of six elected members who serve for one academic year. They are:

  • Abdurakhmanov Abdulaziz, the President of the Student Union. He is responsible for overseeing the overall activities and functions of the Student Union, as well as representing the students’ voice in various university committees and councils.
  • Kuralov Iqlasbek, the Vice President of Social Life. He is responsible for organizing and coordinating various social events and activities for the students, such as festivals, concerts, sports, clubs, etc.
  • Bakhshillayeva Shakhnoza, the Vice President of Academic Life. She is responsible for enhancing and supporting the academic performance and quality of the students, such as providing academic guidance, tutoring, mentoring, etc.
  • Norbekov Bekhruz, the Vice President of Press Service. He is responsible for managing and developing the media and communication channels of the Student Union, such as website, social media, newsletter, etc.
  • Kasimova Kumush, the Vice President of Human Resources. She is responsible for recruiting and training new members and volunteers for the Student Union, as well as maintaining good relations with other student organizations and partners.
  • Abdurakhimov Abdulbasit, the Vice President of Fundraising. He is responsible for raising funds and resources for the Student Union’s projects and initiatives, as well as seeking sponsorship and grants from external sources.

Together, we work hard to make sure that our students have a memorable and enjoyable experience at TSUE. We also collaborate with other student-led societies and clubs on campus or abroad on various projects and initiatives that relate to our common goals and values.

TSUE is proud of its student union and supports its activities and initiatives. TSUE believes that the student union is an important partner in enhancing the quality of education and creating a vibrant and inclusive campus community.
