Responsibilities of the Student Sustainability Club

Environmental Education and Advocacy

One of the primary responsibilities of the Student Sustainability Club is to foster a culture of environmental stewardship within the university. This involves educating students and staff about the importance of sustainable development goals (SDGs), climate action, and the preservation of natural resources through workshops and seminars.

Waste Reduction and Resource Efficiency

                        The club is responsible for initiating and monitoring waste management systems, such as recycling programs and plastic reduction campaigns across the campus. Additionally, members work to promote energy and water conservation practices to minimize the university's overall carbon footprint.
